Abrahamyan: Nairit employees to be paid before July 15

Armenian prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan said that Nairit employees will be paid their wages before July 15.

The prime minister said a consultation held with the president of the republic had resulted in a decision to procure funds by July 15, 2015 in order to pay off the wage arrears accumulated over years and noted that the Energy and Natural Resources minister, Yervand Zakaryan, was instructed to form a committee to look into payroll and adjustment issues, ARKA reports.

"We are ready to discuss any rational, reasonable and realistic proposal regarding the re-commissioning of Nairit and, if possible, assist with the implementation thereof," the prime minister said.
