Skating arena to be built on bank of Chernorechensky Water Reservoir in Grozny

A skating arena with 6,000 seats will open on the bank of the Chernorechensky Water Reservoir, near the Grozny Sea Tourism Complex under construction. The sports complex will house a football field and a swimming pool. The sports complex will cover about 30 hectares, Russkaya Planeta reports.

The construction dates will be announced in September. The project is being funded by Gazprom, according to a deal reached between Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller.
