A Kabardino-Balkaria native has won Russia's first European Championship gold

Free-style wrestler Anzor Urishov won the first gold medal for the
Russian National Team at the European Championships being held in
Baku. In the final round in the under 84 kg weight category he managed
to beat Sharif Sharifov of Azerbaijan, RIA Novosti reports.
