Annual symposium "South Caucasus in a Changing World" ends
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe annual symposium "South Caucasus in a Changing World" ended today in Baku with the adoption of a final declaration, Trend reports.
The declaration touched upon regional security issues and protracted conflicts and their impact on regional cooperation, as well as Azerbaijan's leading role in the South Caucasus.
Over 150 foreign and local experts took part in the "South Caucasus in a Changing World" annual symposium running from October 22 to 23.
The symposium hosted discussions on such topics as "Global challenges in a regional context," "Problems of regional security - conflict and post-conflict development", "Emerging economic trends in the South Caucasus - development of technology and energy" and "Foreign Policy in the Caucasus: strategies and choices".
A publication of work presented at the symposium is planned.
