Bolivian president visits Iran

Press TV reports.
Morales was welcomed by Iranian Minister of Industry and Mines Ali
Akbar Mehrabian at Tehran airport.
The Bolivian president will have meetings with President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad and other high-ranking officials. They plan to sign
agreements for cooperation in various issues, including providing
Bolivia with Iranian technology.
La Paz and Tehran established diplomatic relations in September 2007.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visited Bolivia and signed agreements. The joint
declaration emphasized the right of the two countries to use nuclear
technologu within the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons treaty.
The sides signed an agreement on realization of joint projects worth
$1.1 billion in 5 years. The main spheres are oil, mining, agriculture
and culture.
