Kuban starts replacing passports of flood victims

Employees of the regional Federal Migration Service (FMS) began
issuing new passports to the residents of Krasnodar Region in return
for those damaged or lost during the recent flooding, RIA Novosti
reports, referring to the head of the press center of the Krasnodar
regional administration of the FMS, Tatiana Shirshova.

”According to the latest information, 33 passports have been issued in
return for damaged ones. In addition, at the request of the victims,
33 cases into the loss of passports have been opened and more than 20
temporary identity cards have been issued," - Shirshova said.

According to the information of the FMS, 1,800 houses with more than
5,100 people have been affected by the flood.
