Azerbaijani and Turkmen presidents meet in Baku

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov within the framework of the First European Games in Baku. Aliyev emphasized progress in the development of their bilateral relations, Trend reports.
Berdimuhamedov stressed the value and importance of the First European Games. In his words, common history, language and spiritual values encourage the further development of relations. The Turkmen leader invited Ilham Aliyev to attend a conference which will be held in December to mark the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality, and informed him about the Fifth Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games set for 2017.
