20 sets of medals to be played for on fifth day of First European Games
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaToday in Baku the fifth day of the First European Games has started, during which 20 sets of medals will be played for. Competitions will be held in shooting, archery, boxing, table tennis, taekwondo, Greco-Roman wrestling and synchronized swimming. A series of water polo matches among men and women, men's volleyball and women's beach volleyball will be also played.
In total, 20 sets of medals are to be played for on Tuesday: five in rowing (distance of 1000m for foursome kayak, distance of 5000m for single kayak, as well as a distance of 200m for single kayak, single canoe and kayak-pair) and five in rowing among women (the distance of 200m for single kayak and kayak-pair, 500m for single canoe and canoe-pair, as well 5000m for single kayak), two in shooting among women, two in synchronized swimming, one each in men's and women's taekwondo and four in Greco-Roman wrestling among women.
