Riots continue in Dagestani district

Riots associated with the election results are continuing in the
Tlyaratinsky district in Dagestan.

As reported earlier by Vestnik Kavkaza, about 500 residents of the
Tlyaratinsky district in Dagestan, supporters of the assembly
candidate Sultan Ibragimov, who was not elected, and supporters of the
elected Mahomed Alihanov, rioted yesterday, on the 25th of October, in
the village of Tlyarata. They smashed the windows and doors of the
administration building, as well as the office of the head of the
administration.

Today, on the 26th of October, in the village of Anchuh, a car with
the chief of the election campaign of Sultan Ibrahimov, Kurban
Dibirov, was fired on. He was wounded in the back and hospitalized,
Interfax reports.

At the moment the vice-premier of Dagestan, Rizwan Kurbanov, and the
Deputy Interior Minister, Mahomed Mahomedov, are talking to the
people.

Elections of deputies to the District Assembly were held on the 10th of October.
