11 sets of medals to be played for on eighth day of First European Games

Today in Baku the eighth day of the European Games has started, during which competitions will be held in rhythmic gymnastics, aerobic gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, shooting, archery, taekwondo, boxing, volleyball, beach volleyball, diving, trampoline, table tennis and water polo.
Today the athletes will contend for 11 medal sets: two sets in diving (among men and women), two in acrobatic gymnastics (mixed pairs and women’s trios), one in artistic gymnastics (individual all-around), two sets in women's shooting (50m rifle 3 positions), two in table tennis (among men and women) and two in taekwondo (among men and women).
Ayshan Bayramova and Marina Durunda are representing Azerbaijan at the competitions in rhythmic gymnastics. Russia will be represented by Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun. The gymnasts will perform with a hoop, a ball, clubs and ribbon.
A team consisting of Lala Huseynova, Aynur Huseynova and Narmin Ramazanova and duo Ulyana Dyakova and Anatoliy Leonov will represent Azerbaijan at the gymnastics acrobatic women's group all-around and at the competitions of mixed doubles. Valeria Belkina, Julia Nikitina, Zhanna Parhomets and the mixed pair of Marina Chernova and Georgi Pataraya will represent Russia.
Qualifications will be held in the competitions of group exercises in aerobics. Vera Bosykh, Ekaterina Kotlyarova, Elchin Mammadov, Timur Alekperov and Vladimir Dolmatov will represent Azerbaijan. Russia will be represented by Duhik Dzhanazyan, Garsevan Dzhanazyan, Roman Semenov, Ruslan Zubairov and Denis Solovyov.
In taekwondo competitions Azerbaijan will be represented by Marina Tedeeva, and Russia by Vladislav Larin and Olga Ivanova.
