Kadyrov: Chechnya to be economically independent in five years

In five years Chechnya will be ready to move to self-sufficiency: the republic will be economically independent, the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, said.

According to him, the industry, agriculture and construction are actively developing in the region, RSN reports.

Earlier, Kadyrov said that he agreed with investors from the United Arab Emirates on grants to beginning businessmen from Chechnya. The republic also signed a cooperation agreement with Rosneft and the agreement on tourism with St. Petersburg.
