Armenian police chief apologizes for use of force during protest crackdown

Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan has apologized to journalists for using force against demonstrators protesting against higher electricity prices, RIA Novosti reports.

He said that journalists who suffered material damage during the crackdown will receive compensations.
