African swine fever outbreak in Kuban region

Krasnodar Territory authorities have declared a state of emergency in the Starominsk district over a African swine fever outbreak, RIA Novosti reports.

The infection broke out on a farm with 6,900 animals. Quarantine measures are already in place. All the animals are to be slaughtered.
