Azerbaijani president sends independence day greetings to Turkmen counterpart

The president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, sent a letter of congratulation to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow on Turkmenistan's Independence Day,  Trend reports.

"I am sure Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan relations, traditional friendship and cooperation, will continue to develop steadily in line with interests of both nations," the letter reads.

He wished good health and success in all activities to his Turkmen counterpart, and stability and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan.
