Russian and Azerbaijani boxers enter finals

Russian boxer Bator Sagaluyev beat Turkish opponent Unla Muhammed in the 46-49kg category at the First European Games in Baku and will fight Irish boxer Brendan Irving.

Another Russian boxer Bakhtovar Nazirov (56kg) beat Tayfur Aliyev in the semi-finals. The latter won a bronze medal.

Azerbaijani boxer Teymur Mamedov managed to win the match with Russian martial artist Pavel Silyagin in the 81kg category. He will fight with Valentino Manfredonia in the final. Silyagin won bronze.
