Jens Stoltenberg: heavy fighting in Ukraine may be resumed

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that there is a threat of renewed heavy fighting in Ukraine.

"The conflict in Ukraine has led to the deaths of 6000 people, ceasefire violations continue, and there is still a threat of renewed heavy fighting,’’  Gazeta.ru reports.

Stoltenberg also noted that the main condition for peace is the full implementation of the Minsk Agreement.

As previously stated by the head of the alliance, NATO is monitoring the Russian nuclear sector.
