Russia's VTB Bank fears to open branch in Crimea over sanction threat

VTB head Andrey Kostin said that his bank could not open an office in Crimea due to threats of sanctions looming over it, TASS reports.

The bank will focus on expansion in Russia instead. Kostin does not expect the US to lift sanctions in the next 2-3 years.
