Mass riot participants to address court of law

Supporters of Sultan Ibragimov, who failed to win the elections to Dagestan's Tlyaritskiy district administration, decided to address a court of law, RIA Novosti reports.

Previously some 500 residents of the district who supported Mr Ibragimov organized a rally which led to mass riots. The crowd burst into the local administration hall and started a fight. Sultan Ibragimov disputed the legality of his opponent's victory.

After several violent outbreaks, the conflict parties decided to call their supporters to order and start negotiations.
