Russian Federation Council Deputy chairman to head CIS Inter-parliamentary observation mission

26 observers, including MPs of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly and the experts of CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly will participate in the mission, the Baku branch of the CIS Interparliamentary
Assembly's International Institute for Monitoring the Development of Civil Democracy, Parliamentary System and Electoral Rights told the news agency.
Members of the mission will meet with senior officials of the country, visit Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission and district electoral commissions.
The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
