Speaker of Chechen Parliament Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov passes away

According to colleagues, Duhuvaha Abdurakhmanov worked until his last days.

Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov has done a lot for the development of the Chechen Republic, he was with his people during the most difficult times, and together with the first Chechen President Akhmad Kadyrov and Ramzan Kadyrov he revived the republic.
Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov was born in Karaganda (Kazakhstan) in 1956. He was appointed the minister of agriculture in Chechnya - the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic in 2001, and in November 2005 he was elected to the National Assembly and the chairman of the republic. In 2008 and 2013 he was elected the chairman of the republican parliament. From 2013 he was the chairman of the Assembly of the Peoples of the Chechen Republic.
He was awarded various awards, including the Order of Honor and Friendship.
