Bomb defused in Makhachkala with capacity of 6 kg of TNT

The capacity of a radio-controlled explosive device, which was defused in Makhachkala on Wednesday, was equivalent to about 6 kg of TNT, RIA Novosti reports, citing the National Counter-Terrorism Committee.
Police were given information about and found an explosive device in a plastic bag at around 12.20 hours Moscow time. Traffic was halted and some residents of nearby houses were evacuated.
