Berdimuhamedov meets with President and Prime Minister of Georgia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe presidents of Georgia and Turkmenistan Giorgi Margvelashvili and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held talks today in Tbilisi.
The Turkmen leader stressed the role of his Georgian counterpart in the deepening of bilateral relations. According to him, there are good relations both in political and trade-economic and cultural spheres between two countries, but there is also a potential to increase trade.
Berdimuhamedov invited the Georgian President to visit the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the recognition of Turkmenistan's neutrality. In his turn, Margvelashvili once again congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on his birthday, and thanked him for his visit to Georgia.
The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili gave an official dinner in honor of President of Turkmenistan today. The two sides highly appreciated the bilateral relations and exchanged views on a number of topical issues of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Garibashvili and Berdimuhamedov confirmed their readiness to further develop constructive cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
