Strategic partnership between Russia, Azerbaijan 'guarantees stability in Caucasus'

The strategic partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan is a guarantee
of stability in the Caucasus, the head of the Russian president's
department for inter-regional and cultural relations with foreign
states, Sergey Vinokurov said, Trend reports.

Vinokurov is taking part in a round table on the topic 'The role of
parliament in development of civil society', organized by the
Institute of Eurasian Studies.

He said that the two countries need to keep improving cooperation. The
presidents set a goal of trade turnover over $2 billion, Vinokurov
said. He also noted that Russian business in Azerbaijan is doing well,
creating new jobs.
