Another of Varvara Karaulova’s accomplices seized in Chechnya

According to lawyer Andy Betrizov, another member of the group, with whom the student of the MSU Philosophy Department, Varvara Karaulova, has attempted to cross into Syria from Turkey and join the terrorist organization Islamic State, has been seized in Chechnya.

The arrested is a 32-year-old resident of Urus-Martan, Magomed Garsultanov. He was charged with preparing to participate in an illegal armed group.

According to the investigators, he intended to join Islamic State with Varvara Karaulova, RBC reports.
