Georgia to sell more wine to China

Georgia intends to increase wine exports to China. This was told in Tbilisi by the Minister of Agriculture of the country, Otari Danelia, commenting on the results of his visit to China.

"In May of this year, the Chinese Minister of Agriculture, Han Changfu  paid a visit to Georgia ... Today I have paid a return visit. We have discussed with our Chinese colleagues the possibility of expanding of cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture, including the issues of increasing the export of the Georgian wine to China,’’ TASS leads Danelia’s words

"In recent years demand for the Georgian wine in China has increased," the Minister said.

"The development of cooperation with China is of strategic importance for the export of Georgian wine, for the cooperation between the two countries",  he added.
