Police officer dies during elimination of terrorists

In the village of Akka in the Tabasaran district of Dagestan a clash occurred  between law enforcement officers and a gang, which resulted in the death of an employee of the special department of rapid response and of one of the militants.

"Security forces during an operation in the forest stumbled upon a group of gunmen who opened fire on them. During the fight one of the members of an illegal armed formation was eliminated,’’ RIA Novosti news agency quotes a representative of the law enforcement agencies.
