Storm warning announced in Kuban

A storm warning has been announced in Russia's Krasnodar Region for
tomorrow. Due to heavy rains, there are fears rivers could burst their
banks, causing a repeat of the flooding in the region on October 16,
which killed 14, ITAR-TASS reports referring to the Ministry for
Emergency Situations (MES) for the Krasnodar region.

MES predicts the possible occurrence of incidents related to the
flooding of populated and agricultural areas, erosion of river banks,
dams, and the washing away of bridge supports.

The MES fears the repetition of the flood from the 16th of October
which caused deaths of 14 people.
