251 people detained as part of anti-terrorist operation in Turkey

Some 251 people were detained as part of the anti-terrorist operation in Istanbul. The operation, held against Islamic State militants and Kurdish rebels, involves over 5000 policemen.

A woman was killed during a shootout with police. The operation in Istanbul targeted 140 addresses in 26 districts.
