Putin: Russian Navy successfully defends the national interests of Russia

The Russian Navy successfully provides the country's defense, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today speaking at a military parade on Navy Day in Baltiysk.

"The Navy successfully ensures the country's defense, protects its national interests," Gazeta.ru quotes Putin as saying.

The President also noted that the Baltic Fleet, while performing tasks in various areas of the oceans with dignity, flies the Russian flag with honor.
