Iran does not need Russian planes any more

The Secretary of the Association of Iranian Airlines, Magsud Asadi Samani, stated that Iranian airlines are not interested in buying Russian aircraft.

According to him, several crashes of Tu-type airplanes are the reason for rejecting the use of Russian aircraft. The Secretary of the Association of Iranian Airlines also stressed that Iran needs 400 passenger planes to modernize its aircraft fleet, which would cost Iran 20 billion dollars, Trend reports.
