Turkish air forces attack PKK positions in Iraq

Turkish Air Forces have raided the Kurdish village of Zerkele, located in the mountainous region of Qandil in Iraq. As a result of the attack 9 civilians have been killed and at least 15 have been injured.

"Six houses were destroyed. There were no fighters of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), who Turkey is fighting against. Only farmers and their families," Tass cites eyewitness Feki Mohamed with a reference to Fırat News.
