Iran launches first passenger train to Turkmenistan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIran has launched the first passenger train to Turkmenistan. It covers a distance of 75 kilometers from Gorgan in the north of Iran to Incheboroun, which is located on the border with Turkmenistan.
Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri attended the inauguration ceremony.
In March Iran said that its railway will be connected to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the near future, Trend reports.
