Baku celebrates 120th anniversary of General Jamshid Nakhchivan

Today the Museum of Military History of Azerbaijan hosted an event organized in honor of the 120th anniversary of General Jamshid Nakhchivan. The celebration was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Military Academy, veterans' organizations, museums and the press.

At the beginning of the event, participants held a moment of silence in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the military leader.

The audience watched a documentary about the military career of the general, who played an important role in the development of the national military, AzerTAj reports.
