OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities to visit South Ossetia

The High Commissioner on National Minorities of the Organization for
Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Ambassador Knut Vollebaek,
is expected to visit South Ossetia on the 3rd of November.

During his stay in Tskhinvali, the OSCE delegation will meet with
Foreign Minister Murat Dzhioev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to
South Ossetia on a Post-Conflict Settlement Boris Chochiyev, and
Presidential Commissioner on Human Rights David Sanakoev.

In addition, the guests plan to meet with representatives of national
minorities in South Ossetia, with the Speaker of the Parliament of the
Republic, Stanislav Kochiyev, and with the head of the the head of the
ICRC mission to South Ossetia, M. Pierre Reichel.

A tour to Tshinval and Nogkau in the Tskhinvali district will be a
part of the program.
