IS executes 300 employees of Supreme Electoral Commission in Iraq

In Iraq, militants of the terrorist group Islamic State (IS) have executed at least 300 people who are employed by the country's Supreme Electoral Commission.

As reported by the representative of the armed forces of Nineveh province, Mahmoud al-Savarin, IS executed their victims in the military camp of al-Gazlani. At least 50 women were among the dead.

The Electoral Commission appealed to the international community and the UN with a request to "intervene immediately and stop the massacres and crimes against Iraqis," RIA Novosti reported.
