Mogherini: women of indigenous peoples should have more rights

She believes that despite many positive examples of progress around the world, indigenous peoples, especially women and girls, continue to be subjected to multiple forms of discrimination, experience vulnerability and marginalization in their lives. "Therefore, we seek to expand their rights," gazeta.ru quotes her as saying.
Mogherini also confirmed the EU's support for the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
