Policeman killed in Kabardino-Balkaria

An unidentified gunman shot a police inspector tonight in the Baksan
region of Kabardino-Balkaria, RIA Novosti reports, citing a spokesman
for the law-enforcement bodies.

According to the spokesman, the shooting occurred near the house of
the inspector at around 20:00 Moscow time. The policeman died on spot
from gunshot wounds.
