Supreme Court of Chechen Republic confirms verdict on woman who sold her baby

The Supreme Court of the Chechen Republic has recognized the conviction of a local woman for selling her newborn baby, the press service of the Prosecutor of the Republic reports.

"It was established that in February of 2014, 39-year-old Indira Kushalieva, being 8-months pregnant, made a deal on the transfer of her unborn child to another family for providing free housing and employment," UGA reports.
