Another anti-terror operation in Turkey launched

Turkish police have launched an anti-terror operation in the country’s Izmir Province, targeting the Kurdistan Workers' Party's (PKK) youth movement. 

Some 500 police officers took part in the operation. The police confiscated pump action shotguns, pistols and a large number of militant documents, local media report.

The suspects were taken to İzmir Police Department's Counter-terrorism Unit.
