Russian Embassy sends request to Turkish Foreign Ministry on arrest of Russians

The Russian Embassy in Turkey has sent a request to the Turkish Foreign Ministry after information published in the press on the possible detention of three Russian citizens on suspicion of having ties with the terrorist organization Islamic State in the province of Adana, the embassy reports.

"In accordance with established procedure, we sent a request to the Turkish Foreign Ministry in order to specify the information that had appeared in the Turkish mass media. At the moment, the authorities haven’t informed about this information yet,’’ RIA Novosti cites the service.
