Davutoglu proposes creating no-fly zone in Syria

The Turkish prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu has told the BBC that Turkey will push again for a no-fly zone over northern Syria to protect civilians fleeing both Islamic State and Syrian government forces. He said he would work with the US to establish a "safe area" for people displaced by Syria's conflict, TASS reports.

According to the UN, Turkey is home to more Syrian refugees than any other country - 1.8 million people.

The Prime Minister gave a negative assessment of the actions of the permanent members of the UN Security Council, who, in his opinion, can't do anything to stop the fighting in the country.
