US warplanes launch first air strikes against IS from Incirlik

US warplanes have carried out their first air strikes on the Islamic State targets in Syria after taking off from a Turkish Incirlik air base, the Pentagon said.

Turkish air force did not participate in the raid, Interfax reports.
