Head of Karachay-Cherkessia to supervise repair of burned churches

Today, on the 2nd of November, the head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Boris
Yebzeev visited the churches affected by arson, Yuga reports referring
to the press service of the head of the republic.

The church of St. Barbara in Ordzhonikidzevskiy village has been
damaged most severely. The City Hall of the town of Karachavsk began
restoration work on this church earlier at the request of the head of
Karachay-Cherkessia. In an interview with B. Yebzeev, the prior of the
church of St. Panteleimon, father Eugene explained what should be done
to restore the church.

The head of the republic has noted that the municipal authorities of
Karachaevsk have already received the necessary instructions and he
will personally monitor the progress of repair works in the churches.

Boris Ebzeev has also visited the Baptist church in Karachayevsk.
