Kerry and Lavrov discussed Ukraine and Syria

Today during a telephone conversation between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the US Secretary of State John Kerry, the Foreign Minister of Russia underlined that Kiev doesn’t fulfill its obligations according to Minsk-2.

"The focus was on the current situation in Ukraine. Sergey Lavrov pointed out that Kiev authorities need to follow the Minsk agreements, stop armed provocations, and start a direct dialogue between Kiev and Donbass,’’ RIA Novosti cites the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"The Minister and the Secretary of State agreed to continue their work with both parties in the interests of a peaceful settlement of the conflict," said the Russian Foreign Ministry.
