Lavrov and Manaa discuss fate of Assad

The system of government established in Syria during Bashar al-Assad must be changed in the future, the representative of the Committee Cairo-2, Haytham Manaa, said after a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Speaking about the prospects for the Geneva-3 conference, the opposition figure noted that it will be a one-day event. But they have the Geneva process, according to which they have to work. ‘‘The Geneva process must be the process used," he added.
