Russian tour operators point out significant drop in sales

Russian travel agencies have noted a significant decline in sales against the background of the fall of the ruble, the press secretary of the Russian Travel Industry Union, Irina Tyurina, stated with reference to information from agents. 

"Another fall in the ruble occurred in the first half of August, the most favorable month for vacations. The daily decrease in the value of the currency is making visitors rethink their vacation plans, and even cancel them," Interfax cites her.
