Deputy of UN Secretary spends weekend in Syria

Emissary of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs, Stephen O’Brien has paid a visit to Syria, during which he met with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem, SANA reports.

"The Syrian Government fulfills its commitments in order to ensure the basic needs of the population, i.e struggle against extremism and terrorism," said Walid Moallem.
