Russia may take part in EU energy strategy until 2050

European Commissioner for Energy Gunther Eettinger offered Russian specialists at a meeting with the Russian Vice-Premier Igor Sechin to take part in developing the European energy strategy until 2050, RIA Novosti reports, citing Sechin’s office.

Sechin noted that 25% of the capital of Russian energy complex belongs to foreign companies, making the energy complex a globalized sphere of economy.
