Nazarbayev noted importance National Bank's work during deterioration of budget

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, during a meeting with the head of the National Bank of the Republic, Kairat Kelimbetov, noted the importance of effective work of the regulator in the deteriorating economic situation in the country.

"Due to the deterioration of the condition of the budget, and a reduction of the prices of all of our exported products, the highly-skilled work of the National Bank is a very important," NUR.KZ quotes him as saying.

Following the meeting, the President of the Republic gave a number of specific instructions.
