Armenian government approves draft protocol reducing price of Russian gas

During a meeting today the government of Armenia approved a protocol, according to which the price of Russian gas for the country will be reduced from $190 to $165 per thousand cubic meters.

"Two protocols between the Governments of Armenia and Russia are ready to be signed. The first protocol establishes the price of gas at $165 per one thousand cubic meters in 2015.  According to the second protocol, the authorized bodies entrusted to prepare a model of financial calculations for future use until November 1st," RIA Novosti cites the head of the Ministry of Energy of Armenia, Yervand Zakharyan.
